Troubleshooting.

During installation the IP table has not been filled.
During the installation I get the message: "A problem appear during IP table filling, this could happen on some hosting as this table count more than 78 000 rows. You can either try again or continue without that table. In that case you will not have the display of the crawlers country of origin. On the 'Troubleshooting' page on the documention available on www.crawltrack.fr, you will find a procedure to fill manually that table".

The table crawlt_ip_data filling requests are too big for your hosting. There is a way by using the following procedure to solve that problem:

1) Download that file: table-ip.zip
2) Once the folder unzipped, you have 94 text files each of them containing a sql request. With phpMyAdmin you have to run one by one these requests on the Crawltrack database to fill the crawlt_ip_data table. Its a bit boring, there is 78022 data to enter in the table...

Error messages at the bottom of CrawlTrack pages.
At the bottom of each statistics pages I have the message:
Warning: fopen(./cache/****) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /***/***/***/***/index.php on line 89
Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /***/***/***/***/index.php on line 90

It's a writing right problem in your cache folder. You have to CHMOD 767 the cache folder.

The CrawlTrack header image, the buttons icons and all the graphs aren't display.
On all the CrawlTrack pages, all .png images (all the icons) and all the graphs aren't display. Only the .jpg images are shown. This is the result of a FTP transfer in ASCII mode of the CrawlTrack files.

You have to set-up your FTP software to "auto" or "binary" mode to transfer the CrawlTrack files.

Since the change to version 2.2.0 or 2.2.1, specials letters didn't show correctly.
On all the CrawlTrack pages, all specials letters are display under a strange form such as: é. This is the result of the charset being forced in the Apache configuration.

In the Apache config, you have to put: AddDefaultCharset off.
Or, since release 2.2.1, you can change the charset use by CrawlTrack directly in the tools page. In that case change for ISO-8859-1.

Even with all the folder in CHMOD 777, no way to install or update CrawlTrack.
The folder are all in CHMOD 777 and each time the installation or the update stop, asking to put the folder in CHMOD 777

It's du to your server setting. In that case you can use the manual install or manual update kit available below.
